Description

NovoPacks’ frosted BOPP film delivers an elegant, soft‑touch matte finish that reduces glare and elevates premium brands. Produced on advanced tenter lines, the film is surface‑modified to create a micro‑rough texture with low gloss (< 15 GU at 60°), giving packages a sophisticated paper‑like look while retaining the moisture resistance and strength of biaxially oriented polypropylene.

Gauges are available from 18 µm to 40 µm. The printable side is 38 dyn corona‑treated for excellent adhesion with UV‑flexo, gravure, digital and screen inks, while the reverse is optionally heat‑sealable or suited for lamination with PE, CPP or metallised webs. Balanced MD/TD mechanical properties ensure wrinkle‑free running on HFFS/VFFS, lidding and label‑conversion equipment.

Fully recyclable as polypropylene and compliant with EU 10/2011 food‑contact regulations, NovoPacks slit‑to‑width rolls arrive quickly to converters and brand owners throughout Europe, enabling just‑in‑time production of high‑impact matte packaging.
